BAILE DO MOMO
The Baile do Momo was born at the end of the pandemic,
initially as small gatherings, and quickly evolved into a major
traveling event throughout Brazil. Inspired by “King” Momo –
not a traditional king, but the king of fun and celebration –
the strategy was to create a stage with theatrical curtains,
symbolizing a spectacle that opens up to the public and invites
them to be part of the party.
On Momo’s stage, everyone is welcome. The party doesn’t just
belong to the king; it belongs to the whole kingdom, and the
kingdom belongs to everyone. Anyone can take to the stage and
is invited to interact and enjoy without limits.
The choice to work with light and reflective materials was made to create a sense of immersion in the space and greater connection, the venue being a closed shed.
